Sounds good mate, best advice I can offer, is get a good cv sorted with all your current qualifications and college stuff on it. Dress up smart and go to every main dealer in the area and ask to speak the dealer principle/service manager and tell them your looking for an apprenticeship. Give them a cv and all get introduced, be confident but not cocky obviously.
Its a good time of year to be applying for an apprenticeship now so get out there, the motor trade is making a recovery now all be it slowly, very few places in my experience took on apprentices last year so most will be looking to take on this year if its even only one apprentice, that one could be you. Im not being funny but the level of training an main dealer and manufacture can offer you is another level compared to your local college course's trust me.
Best of luck mate, do you have a driving lisence? that can help a bit too in getting a job in a dealership
