Cheers mate i know the conversion quite well, by buying a 90 spec it means you dont have to change the entire car loom.

I didnt realise you had a mk2 even though now i see one clearly in your sig lol you still got the polo aswell?

Problem im having is finding out what sort of wheels i could have if i was to wide track it, i want 9's but by the looks of the wide tracked ones i have seen i dont think it would be possible. Massivly deciding factor atm as to weather i wait for a valver and keep it as one of get an 8v and VR it.

Haha, yeah man let the polo go end of last year. Wide track means your gona have 5x100 hubs too, so can find getting wheels a bit more tricky. But with chopped arches and bonded on g60 arches I reckon you could get away with them. Stanton on ed38 had 15x9's (I think) et -13 ats classics on his so anything is possible with commitment

Probs good to try and get a good compromise for ride height, stance and handling.

You can wide track and keep 4x100 with a mix of parts but i think i would not go wide track now, you can do a VR without wide tracking!

Search isnt looking good for a jetta im going to end up with a golf at this rate!

^^ i think your right there with the wide track and a mix of parts. I think its the wishbones that are a bit longer, or so i'm told. So if you had some 4 x 100 hubs, bingo.
