Black chrome....

Postby 33Hz! » Sat Feb 20, 2010 2:26 pm

Basically the schmidts are in a bit of a mess after me being to lazy to put some winter wheels on so Im planning on getting them refurbed.

So my question is, does anyone know anywhere local that would be able to refurb them in black chrome and a rough idea of cost?

Cheers!

Just the name Audi says to me big bucks lol. I'll have a ring round a few places and see what they say.

And secret wheels Adam? Spill the beans! Lol

Chrome is seriously expensive mate and no where local, and no really even in this country that can do a really good job on it. You could get them diamond turned with like a shadow lacquered finish I imagen. Pristine wheels might be able to help you out. They've got some sample wheels down there in different finishes too.

Yeah I had no luck ringing round today, pureklas is probably about the only place that could do it, but like you said it's mega exspensive! Think I'm going to go with shadow black which is a mix of silver/black, Honda use it on some if there cars.

Yeah man, shadow black is probably your best bet, comes on loads of manufacturers wheels these days so should be easy enough to get.
