KEYNE ON DUBS

i have 2.0 8v cabriolet engine in my ibiza out of mk3 and its always been hitting a rev limit at 5,100rpm and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem with gti's ect?

i have tried timing and all censors, breathers and fuel pump and was thinking of just replacing the ecu with gti spec will this help or is ther a simple answer??

Yeah my mate had this problem with his 95 gti 8v with the AGG engine,which is probably the same,will ask how he cured it

thanks yeah it is the AGG engine and iv heard of other people with this prob but they havent cured it:)
