i need help bad

not very happy but my clutch is going and i need it replacing!!!!! ppl must no a freindly but good mechanic that has good prices!!! i have bin told 185+ vat because its a 3.5 hour job!!!! please if anyone knows a mechanic that will do it cheaper i will bite there arm off and treat em to a beer!!!! i want it done for bout 120 if pos! i will obviously provide the clutch fooooools!

Call The Garage next to Motorserv in Old Wolverton they done my pedal box for £165 including the box there very friendly and cheap

Ali at unit18 might be able to help, hes about £30 an hour I think. You could try dropping Jimmy Oldschool a PM on edition38 too, he runs The Garage in wolverton but might be able to do it as a PJ for you if you ask him ;)

who told you the clutch is going? you told me yesterday the biting point is fine, its not slipping and the release bearing aint making any funny noises. Thinking about it, it sounds more like the linkage is playing up. I wouldnt throw money at it just yet.

I got a garage to test it and my biting point is literally on the floor and then putting it into gear is a challenge u have to more or less force your foot clean through the floor!!! Stu m8 I would happily pay your bro to do it or have a looki! Heard nothing bad bout him! Dean was happy with the work he done so...... I will drop u a pm in the near future!! Cheers lads!
