Hi All,

I thought i'd take the oppertunity to introduce myself.

I'm Paul from Platinum Ice. I am a mobile installer for in car entertainment. I install bluetooth handsfree kits, Sat nav, dvd players and headrest screens, Ipod connection kits, headunits, subs, amps etc. Being a mobile service I can go to my customers at a location and time of their choice including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

I also design and fabricate custom installs to customer requirements although I usually carry out custom installs in our workshop.

I also offer a carbon wrapping service. I do the carbon wrapping for some very well know faces (and cars) on the scene and my work will be on display at this year ED38. I can wrap anything but I have a general rule of, if it's available off the shelf then I can't wrap it any cheaper. I use real carbon fibre and not an imitation to ensure my work is to the highest standard.

For more information and pictures of my work please visit: www.platinumice.co.uk

Or give me a call on: 07818 091 027

Thanks for reading
Paul

Nice one mate, I really like the carbon work your doing there. Carbon rear view mirror is very nice indeed. Might be intouch in the future for some of that! Could you do engine covers in carbon? Will it stand up to the heat and what not?

Thanks guys, i'm pleased you like the dash, it was hard work but paid off.

Drew - It is possible to do engine covers, i'm currently doing one for Tank's Mk4. I can't see why it won't stand up to the heat as the covers are only plastic and don't get that hot. I'm sure Tank will let me know if there is a problem with the engine cover getting to hot!

Hi Alex,

Yeah I can do dash out jobs, not a problem.

I'm after a little more info. Did you just want the dash taking out and putting in for you or the pod making aswell?

Did you get the car running in the end?

dash out, gauge fitted in air vent ( will need something making to hold it in place), wired up and dash back in.

Hi Alex,

Yeah that is possible. Best thing to do is next time your passing through Hartwell and have the time, give me a bell to check i'm around and i'll take a look and we can have a chat about what sort of pod you were after.

Cheers mate
