40sqrd foot of dynomat ordered (4sqrd ft filled my boot up, so this will do the whole car!), interior is completely stripped down and is all going black. Wheels are off to be sprayed this month. Some more smoothing of the front end, but thats a secret for now.

Shit thats a lot of sound deading mate lol, how much did all that set you back?

If thats in MK, probably me! Last min xmas shopping. Was it on the old black steelies?

The sound deadening, well for 4ft sqrd of proper Dynomat, £25 a pack, for the 42sqr ft i got, £73. Stuff is called MaxMat, all the top installers use it over dynomat, purely because its so much cheaper, and the quality is almost as good!

Roof will be vinyled instead of sprayed now, a lot cheaper to do and to change when i get bored of it! Just gotta find the right shade of purple, and when thats done, the wheels will be done to match. Can't wait to go back onto the wides. Also got smaller tyres for the rears for more stretch, 165/55 as opposed to 175/50's, on 8's.

Just picked up a bootlid, off a Seat Arosa, with wrap around glass.

Will get a picture to compare the difference, but basically the glass goes all the way around rather than having two yellow pillars either side.
