KEYNE ON DUBS

Hey guys, one of the guys at work told me i should jump on this forum so i thought id give it a go and give everyone the low down on 'Donkey Kong Junior" aka "Donx's car" lol

wen i got DKJ it was pretty much standard a J reg Metallic Pearl Grey, Golf GTi 8v. I don't have any pics of back then any more unfortunately (a bad incident of lots of cpu overclocking and a small fire.... ...fun times!)
neway. since then lots has been done...

sitting on kw coilovers, no idea how low but my sump has a serious phobia of speed bumps

OMP front and rear upper strut bars
Front black leather mk1 Audi TT seats... rears being fitted atm!!! (tis a b*tch)
280mm momo steering wheel, white dials
DB competition 6x9's and stealth shelf, 600amp, kenwood component speakers and 5-1/2" cheap Chinese screen DVD, radi,tv etc...

i think they're unfortunately marmite syndrome tho, love it or hate it, i jst think theyre soooo damn retro tho lol, they even 'boot up' like an old Amiga (yes i remember those days shok horror!)






separated old hubs and bearings, neeed to put in new bearings 2moro build up brakes
took a few quick also of the other parts that you havn't seen yet

nearly as smooth as i'd like, i reckon 1 more days work b4 i can start painting it.





drive by wire throttle bracket goin to go inbetween pedal box and brake master cylinder and extended pedal going to be welded on to brink in line with rest of pedal box,

finished putting the hydraulic clutch in thru bulkhead, flattened the bulked head with a massive hammer then painted it so it wasn't battered! then drilled 3 holes and fits spot on!











now fingers crossed lol :coool:
Any comments good or bad please guys and gals! i really wanna put a good finishing touch on this project and any advice is more then welcome!

thats copper greese on the subframe so my bushes dont squeek, i made sure i had any trace of rust off before painting them witha chassis black, i do like how the bay turned out for an on the drive ghetto spray booth lol
