Riko's Looooong Golf!

Postby Riko » Wed Aug 19, 2009 11:33 pm

As promised I thought I'd chuck a few random pics up of the MUUUUUUDEER(ish) WAGON!!

The car has under gone loads of minor changes over the year which you wouldn't know unless I showed you, but don't want to make this an epic thread so I'll start from where we are today!

Bought her in July '08 after scoping a few on piston heads and Seat Cupra.net

Spec as follows:
1.8 20VT
Revo Stage 1 Map (RR@206.5bhp)
Milltek Cat Back exhaust
SFS Turbo Intake Pipe
Jetex open cone air filter
Laguna FMIC
LCR front splitter
N249 Bypass
Secondary Air Intake removed
Forge 007p DV
Bilstein PSS9 Fully Adjustable Coilovers (the TITS!)
Eibach 15mm rear spacers
OZ Superturismo 16" alloys
Seat Sport strut brace
B&M Precision short shift
Pagid Fast Road brake pads
Audi TT Platinum spark plugs
Nomad Pillar Pod with oil temperature and boost gauges
And some tuuuunes for good measure!

Future plans: K03s Turbo (already have waiting to fit), FULL 3" Down Pipe and De-cat (already have waiting to fit), then Revo stg2 remap, New shoes really wanting some dish for shows to give it a little more euro rather than motor sport.

Hope you like pics!

Day I got her home

Thanks! There seems to be a problem with my pics? Parts cut off them... guess it teething problems with the new site?

Hmmm maybe theres some sort of resolution limit which has been exceeded and so the forums chopped bits off?

Thought I'd resurrect my thread from the bottom of the pile!

The cupras gone which was a very sad day :o

The idea was to get a cheaper ride due to getting a new pad etc, so came home with this little gem...

Had a mini piccy sesh seeing as the weather was good :D

It's doing me proud so far, but had a bit of a love hate relationship as there's a couple of running issues. Already had to buy a new MAF and think the timing belts out.
