37+vat mate, ur tyre wil b taken off put back on and revalved and balanced too,
looks like it should be ok to be honest, you just don't know until its spun up whether its a flatspot on the back which is repairable
or its gone through quite far to the middle of the wheels making it buckled which we won't be able to do. pothole was it?
im off at the minute but when you go in ask for Dan, say Jack told you to talk to him.
we only wont do it if its unsafe buddy.bascially our repair guy will heat it and roll it out, he spends about an hour on it
anymore questions ask away

If pristine won't touch it, BJV in Hemel will, seen some nasty wheels rescued there! Cost is the same, they are the opposite side of Hemel to the m1 junction, out in the sticks. Google them.

But I'd try Pristine first, they are at the station in Woburn!

Thanks lads! Jack I was thinking if the wheel can be repaired, what would it cost to have all 4 refurbed at the same time? Only got a few scuffs, just want them looking good when I sell it on...

Well took it Pristine earlier and they say it's goosed! Filed a report on potholes.co.uk and just about to do the same with the council! When it was on the roller, I couldn't believe how buckled the wheel actually was!

try BJV.

worth a shot, cheaper than buying a new wheel!

not sure it's worth it, 2 of them looked at it and there was no question... was a straight up fucked!
Plus if some1 else thought they could repair it, it's not going to be as strong again. Or it'll break trying to roll it back into shape and I'll have to pay for the work anyway!?

Bad times :x

depemds how far you are prepared to go... if it cracks, it can be re-welded. a friend has just had 4 BBS CH welded up, as the barrels all had cracks.

alex if you don't know about something, don't fuckin give people your advice on it.
do you even know what a buckle is? like really mate?
pisses me off how naive you are and how much complete bollocks you just guess about.

o and riko, ye my old mad said it was shagged sorry about that, thing is when it goes through the main strength of the wheel thats it, and if it wasn't buckled and just flatspotted we could have rolled it out, and the same thing would happen again and the wheel would be weaker, it does suck but theres not too much you can do. and im sure you as well as me wouldn't want to be runnin on dodgy wheels.

safe
