nah mate, 5mm alloy guard mounted thru rubber bushes - JWRC styleee!

I rubbed threw 2mm of ally in 47 miles. 5mm of ally would last about a week on country lanes. ESP i'd you went lower.

if 5mm was thick enough to last a season of tarmac rallies, it'll be reet on my cupra, plus i'm on 16's, so a little more sump clearance than you even if i go lower, i reckon i can only do another 10mm before i start catching my arches, the liners are battle-scarred already
